Overview

A quiz is private until you publish it. Publishing gives you a link and a QR code that work on any phone or computer, and in the BQuiz student app.

What you'll do

Step by step

Step 1 of 5

  1. In the quiz editor, click “Publish Quiz Now!” in the top right. BQuiz saves any unsaved edits first, then makes the quiz live. Until you publish, the quiz link shows students that it isn't available.

    Run through Settings before publishing: timer, passing percentage and what students see after submitting.

Good to know

  • If students see “this quiz link has expired”, the quiz is unpublished. Publish it again to reopen it.

Common questions

Do students need an account?

Students sign in on the quiz page with email, Google or Apple so their score is saved under their name. They don't need a teacher account.

Will the link change if I edit the quiz?

No. The link stays the same. Edits appear for students who open the quiz after you save.
