Mark short and long answers

Overview

Multiple choice is marked automatically. Short and long answers need a teacher: they stay “Pending” until you mark them, and the final percentage updates when you're done.

What you'll do

Step 1 of 4

  1. In the Submits tab, look for submissions with the status “Pending”. These contain short or long answers that need a teacher. Click one to open it.

Good to know

  • Contributors can mark too if you give them the “Allow Marking of Answers” permission.

Common questions

Can I change marks later?

Yes. Open the submission again, change the marks and evaluate again. The score updates.
