Overview
If you already keep questions in a spreadsheet, you don't need to retype them. Upload the file, tell BQuiz which column holds what, and the questions open in the quiz builder.
What you'll do
- 1Prepare your spreadsheet
- 2Choose “Import Quiz”
- 3Upload the file
- 4Match your columns
- 5Click “Import Now”
You'll need
- An .xlsx or .csv file up to 2 MB
- One row per question, with a header row
Step by step
Step 1 of 5Put each question on its own row, with column names in the first row. Useful columns: question, answer, type (mcq, sq or lq), explanation, and the options, either in one column separated by commas (“options”) or in separate columns (option_1, option_2, option_3, option_4). Your column names can be anything; you'll match them in step 4.

Good to know
- For multiple choice, the answer must match one of the options exactly (same spelling and spaces).
- Rows without a question are skipped.
- If type is empty, the question is imported as multiple choice.
